Matsuyamachisuji is a roughly 1 km-long north-south street in Osaka Ward, renowned for its over 100 wholesale and specialty stores that sell Japanese dolls (such as hina ningyo), toys, candy, and Japanese paper. Locally, Matsuyamachi is pronounced "Matchamachi," earning it the nickname "Gotchamachi."
